A unique powerful, floral note reminiscent of magnolia blossoms.

Perfumery usage
HEDIONE® HC has wonderful booster effects.

It’s strength is far superior to the classical HEDIONE® due to its high cis concentration.

It exhibits its character only in neutral pH conditions (5.5 – 7.0).

History
The HEDIONE® family began with dsm-firmenich’s discovery of the molecule HEDIONE® in 1958, as part of the methyl jasmonate synthesis. Further ingredients continue to be developed to meet additional specific technical needs, such as a heightened stability or strength.
