Maison Note

Oud Manhattan is built around a dry woody structure with frankincense, citrus and green notes.

The opening is sharp and resinous, before the greener facets bring a distinctly bitter character to the heart. Indian sandalwood gives the base a smoother texture and softens the edges of the composition.

The name Oud Manhattan refers to the perfume’s woody Arabian identity rather than to oud as a listed material.

Inspiration

Oud Manhattan was imagined from the contrasts of Manhattan.

The city rises vertically, dense with movement and architecture, yet opens unexpectedly into trees, parks and quieter streets. Stone, glass and greenery exist within the same few blocks, constantly shifting the atmosphere.

The perfume follows this contrast: sharp at first, greener as it develops, then smoother as the woods settle.

Oud Manhattan is the Maison’s interpretation of a city where nature and structure are never far from one another.
