Maison Note

Imam Al Arabi is built around the contrast between cool camphor and a woody oud base.

Fresh mint extends the aromatic opening, while bergamot brings brightness alongside leather. Indian oud anchors the composition and gives the attar its lasting woody character.

Inspiration

Imam Al Arabi was born from a hadith recorded in Sahih Muslim.

Nafiʿ reported that when Ibn ʿUmar perfumed with incense, he used aloeswood without mixing it, or placed camphor together with aloeswood. He then said:

“This is how Allah’s Messenger ﷺ fumigated.”

The meeting of camphor and aloeswood became the starting point for the perfume, interpreted through the Maison’s own composition.

Imam Al Arabi means “The Arabian Imam,” a name chosen in reference to this Islamic tradition of scent.
