Kurozakura is built around cherry blossom, hamanasu and kinmokusei, set against dark rosewood and botanical black musk.

Kinmokusei brings its apricot-floral character, while caramel and nutmeg add warmth to the heart. Dark rosewood and botanical black musk shift the composition toward a deeper musky base.

Inspiration

Kurozakura means “Black Cherry Blossom.”

The inspiration begins with sakura after nightfall. The gardens have emptied, the wooden paths are quiet, and the blossoms are no longer seen in full daylight. Their pale petals appear only in fragments beneath the darkness.

What is familiar by day takes on another character at night: softer, more intimate and slightly unsettling.

Kurozakura explores this transformation, where the delicacy of cherry blossom meets the depth of shadow.
