Maison Note

Moonlit Rose is built around Bulgarian rose and animalic deer musk.

A hint of dark chocolate deepens the floral opening, while deer musk brings a more instinctive character to the heart. Deep black musk extends the darker facets of the composition, with Mysore sandalwood bringing creaminess to the base.

Created as a successor to Midnight Rose, Moonlit Rose continues the Maison’s exploration of the rose after dark, this time with a more animalic presence.

Inspiration

At the edge of night, a rose opens beneath the moonlight.

Something approaches beyond the darkness. It is not seen at first, only felt in the silence and in the change of atmosphere around the flower.

As the presence draws closer, the rose takes on another character. Its delicacy remains, but something more instinctive begins to emerge.

Moonlit Rose tells the story of this encounter: a luminous rose meeting the darker force of deer musk.
